TERMS AND CONDITIONS - CANCELLATIONS & OTHER FEE

Any reservation made online or by phone is considered PENDING until it is approved by a Vipsy representative and the price has been confirmed. The reservation will be considered FINAL once a confirmation email has been sent to the email address provided.

Cancellations:

  • Vipsy reserves the right to impose a cancellation fee if a reservation is cancelled after the confirmation process has been completed.
  • For cancellations of (Sedan/SUV) reservations, if the cancellation is made 24 hours prior to the pickup time, a 25% cancellation fee will be charged without exception.
  • For cancellations of (Sprinter Vans / Limo / Busses) reservations, if the cancellation is made 72 hours prior to the pickup time, a 50% cancellation fee will be charged. If the cancellation is made within 72 hours of the pickup time, a FULL cancellation fee will be charged.
  • For cancellations made within 24 hours of the pickup time, a FULL FARE will be charged without exception.

FLIGHT CHANGE

If the passenger needs to make a change to the flight, they must notify the Vipsy dispatch office 5 hours prior to the pickup time. If the passenger does not make this notification, a FULL cancellation fee will be charged for the scheduled ride.

BAGGAGE

The passenger is responsible for collecting all luggage and items from the vehicle upon arrival at the destination. If any luggage or items are lost by the airline, the passenger will be responsible, and a waiting time fee will be charged if the passenger does not collect their belongings within the designated grace period.

INTERNATIONAL & DOMESTIC FLIGHTS GRACE TIME:

Vipsy provides a 45-minute grace period for domestic and international flights from the time the flight actually lands at the airport. Waiting time will be charged after 45 minutes at a rate of $1.00 per minute.

CUSTOMS ARRIVALS

Vipsy drivers will wait for 1 hour for international flights and 45 minutes for domestic flights. If no contact is made, the driver will be released, and a full charge will be applied. If the passenger contacts Vipsy dispatch office or the driver and requests additional waiting time, the wait time will be charged at a rate of $1.00 per minute.

NON-AIRPORT PICKUPS

Vipsy provides a 10-minute grace period for non-airport pickups. After the grace period, a waiting time fee will be charged at a rate of $1.00 per minute.

GRIDLOCK ALERT

Vipsy Chauffeur Service will not be responsible for clients missing their flights due to gridlock traffic. The New York City Department of Transportation determines these travel days. During the holiday season, New York City experiences heavy traffic known as gridlock, which can cause cross-roads to become jammed. The city projects the worst traffic days to help alleviate the problem. Clients are advised to make travel plans accordingly.

CLEAN UP FEE

If a passenger spills a drink in the vehicle, vomits in the vehicle, or causes any damage to the interior or exterior of the vehicle, a penalty fee of $100 will be charged for detailing the vehicle. If there is any interior or exterior damage caused by the passenger, a penalty fee will be applied to the passenger or billing contact. VIPSY INC. PET POLICY Vipsy chauffeur Service can ONLY have SERVICE ANIMALS with valid Tag (s) travelling in our vehicles. Please inform the booking agent when making a reservation that you are travelling with a pet (Dog/Cat). The pets must be in a Pet carrier while they are riding in our vehicle (s)"
